and I 'chased' them to the next crossing but the lack of sunlight made it fruitless.
(overcast day, 19 degrees F)
Still on the ground is 15 inches with a 1/4 inch ice crust in the middle now.
Have to break the sharp edges of crust when walking.

Real snow plowing is time consuming to do and watch.

Years ago, I made my model snow plows so I can do it anytime I want.
This was even before Walthers made plastic kits of Spreaders and Russel plows.

.

I thought about bringing it out of storage and showing it at the local model railroad show, but I got a bad bruise on my hand, so I couldn't lift it anyway. It can sit in storage some more.

I haven't had it out of the box in a while. I noticed I don't have digital pictures of it, and I started with those cameras in 2003.

.

For those who haven't seen my operating snow plow models in eight years, I use flour for snow.
I only do it on one special module, and I clean up during every show.
As I tell a lot of kids, don't do this at home on their model railroad.
