Switcher and EJE in Plover

Switcher and EJE in Plover

By coincidence, Bob S and I were taking pictures of the same unit when it arrived in Plover, Wisconsin.

Saturday Feb 6, 2010. . . .3pm . . . . One of his pictures:

A few days later, I also saw SW 1500 WC/CN 1570 in town in the early morning.
Normal operations the last few months has one unit spending the night in Plover,
and one more arriving about 7am. This orange EJE unit has been around for at least 3 weeks.
It's nice to see some color, the CN sure has a variety of locomotives.

.

On Sunday morning, 9am Feb 14th, the 1570 was picking up cars that were left overnight at Mile Post 81 east of the Plover yard.

.

The 1570 headed for the yard as soon as the orange EJE left.
The short train passes the Portage County Historical Village.
